About the Program

Start your program in Paris, where you’ll begin to appreciate how these cities have developed around the central idea of cultural heritage and patrimony. You will then continue your adventure in Rome. Your courses will integrate class time with course-related trips to art and cultural management institutions, including visits to well-known museums such as the Musée d’Orsay and the Vatican Museum.

You will learn about the development of the history of art as you move between the City of Light (Modernism) and the Eternal City (ancient art), with an included multi-day excursion to Tuscany intended to bridge the gap between medieval and Renaissance transitions in the social functions and aesthetics of art and museums.
