Baseball

⚾Fall Ball Abroad is expanding to London in Fall 2025!

London will now be the second Fall Ball Abroad location, joining Amsterdam, where we will continue to offer baseball and softball each fall semester. IES Abroad partners with Old World Sport to give students the opportunity to study abroad while preparing for their spring baseball and softball season.

What’s Included:

  • Fall Ball Abroad London and Amsterdam provide high-quality coaching and access to top-tier training facilities. This program is an add-on to our IES Abroad Amsterdam and London programs. Students apply to a fall program in either city and, once accepted, choose the baseball or softball add-on.
  • Designed for the fall semester, Fall Ball Abroad helps student-athletes improve during their off-season, ensuring they return to their home campuses ready for the season. The program follows all NCAA rules.
  • Participants engage in elite practices and workouts with international coaches, with flexible schedules that accommodate their classes. The program also includes two organized excursions and independent facility access.
  • The Fall Ball Abroad add-on costs $4,475, covering coach-led practices, facility access, equipment use, trainer consultation, and excursions, including one with overnight accommodation.

Berlin Equitable Living

🌎Transform Perspectives, Champion Justice: Our New "Intersectional Equity" Course

As part of our Global Good Commitment, we are thrilled to announce our innovative new course, "Intersectional Equity". Through this commitment, we aim to infuse our Global Pillars (Sustainable Living, Equitable Living, and Human Well-Being) into our courses, new program development, experiential opportunities, and co-curricular programming.

Starting in the 25-26 academic year, we will offer our second course based on our Global Pillars - "Intersectional Equity" in Berlin, Granada (which will also offer ES/SO360 Designing the Sustainable City), and Rabat.

In this unique course, students will identify the most pressing local challenges to equity in their host city. Working in small teams and using a project-based, intersectional approach, they’ll offer solutions to the issues at the local level, consider the environmental, historical, and social characteristics of the area, and pay particular attention to the impact of migration on equity across various intersectional identities.

Students will be asked to apply tools based on the current working methodology used by NGOs and other social entities to develop an innovative project proposal. Upon successful completion of this course, they’ll earn a micro-credential in Intersectional Equity and Project Development.

Beyond the classroom, students gain firsthand experience in the field including:
