Universidad de Buenos Aires

Since 1821, the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) has played an important role in the social and political life of Argentina and has become the largest university in the country. UBA is one of the oldest and most prestigious public universities in Argentina.

The UBA Facultad de Agronomía is one of the oldest agricultural institutions in South America, with over 100 years of experience in academics and research.

Unlike the typical university campus in the U.S., UBA does not have a main campus. The university consists of several independent academic units (Facultades) which are scattered in different neighborhoods throughout Buenos Aires. Your commute to the UBA Agro school will likely be 50-60 minutes. IES Abroad will subsidize student costs for public transportation to and from UBA.
