I am sitting in the Santiago airport.

My study abroad experience has mostly been in managing the tension between lofty goals and the reality of my limits as a person.

It has been great to be home and relax after a busy few months. It has also been great to think back on the events that made this such an incredible experience.

As my departure date approaches, I’ve had to grapple with the fact that, unlike my friends in the program, London hasn’t become my home away from home.

Tonight, or rather early tomorrow morning, I hop on a flight to El Calafate.

It’s no secret that I love Taylor Swift.
