Hola mi gente!
Join me on a field trip to Córdoba and Granada. From crossing the famous bridge into Córdoba's historic heart to marveling at the breathtaking Alhambra in Granada, these cities are full of rich history, stunning architecture, and unforgettable moments.
Check out my vlog here.
Our first stop was Córdoba, where I got to cross the iconic Puente Romano (Roman Bridge), which stretches across the Guadalquivir River. The view from the bridge is absolutely stunning, with the ancient stone structure and city’s skyline providing a perfect backdrop. As I walked across, I couldn’t help but think about the centuries of history this bridge has witnessed—it really feels like stepping back in time.
Once I made it to the city, I spent the day exploring the winding streets, discovering hidden courtyards, and soaking in the atmosphere. Córdoba’s mix of Roman, Moorish, and Jewish influences is what makes it so unique. The Mezquita, a mosque-turned-cathedral, was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.
The next day, we headed to Granada, and let me tell you, La Alhambra was everything I imagined and more. Perched on a hilltop overlooking the city, this palace and fortress complex is nothing short of majestic. From the stunning gardens to the detailed Islamic architecture, every inch of La Alhambra is a masterpiece. Walking through the courtyards, I felt like I was transported to a different time. The intricate tile work, the beautiful courtyards, and the history embedded in the walls were just amazing.
The views from the Alcazaba, the oldest part of the Alhambra, were also incredible—looking out over Granada with the Sierra Nevada mountains in the distance made it all the more surreal.
Both Córdoba and Granada are full of history, beauty, and incredible places to visit. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend visiting these two cities! These spots are definitely must-sees in Spain.
Thanks for joining me on this adventure, and I can’t wait to share more of my travels with you all soon!
Until next time!
