As an alumna of the IES Abroad Barcelona program, the winner of the 2023 Study Abroad Film Festival for her film Take the Goggles Off, and an intern at IES Abroad, Sami has experienced first hand-how transformative studying abroad can be. She is a passionate journalist and filmmaker who believes that meaningful stories can be found anywhere if you only know how to listen. In her free time, Sami enjoys being in nature, planning future trips, and spending time with her family and friends
