PO 366 - European Political Movements and Ideologies

In the current course, the student must acquire the historical and conceptual background necessary to understand the political and social changes happened in Europe during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The scope of the course will deal with the ideas, the events, the thinkers, and the leaders that have had an impact on contemporary political thought, paying special attention to the differences between democracy and totalitarianism.
