EC 303 - Modern Spanish Economic Development

The course analyzes with an economic perspective the Spanish economy and their regions. We build the structure of the topics explaining the Spanish economic structure. Then we can analyze the economic performance in an EU environment, specially focused on the current economic situation, prospects, origins and consequences of the crisis. The sectorial distribution, quantitative and qualitative changes in the country and its regions are considered in the discussion process of the subject. The Spanish modernization process, the economic miracle, immigration, or Spanish euro-role, are included in the sessions.
