CU/AH 250 - Art and Design in the Roaring Twenties: From Art Nouveau to Art Deco

Paris is often identified with the roaring twenties. Indeed, between World War I and World War II we observe amazing changes in art, architecture, design, fashion, jewelry and music deeply related to the industrial revolution and the social and political changes in Europe.

In this class we will analyze the link between the historical context, this new lifestyle and how it affects the arts, design and fashion.
