In Spring 2017, IES Internships launched full-time semester internship programs in Barcelona, Dublin, London, MilanRome, and Santiago! The spring program application deadline for all locations is Tuesday, May 15, 2018

Full-time semester internships are a great fit for you if:

You are on track to graduate early.

If you’ve fulfilled all your credits, but want to walk at graduation with the rest of your class, why not take a semester to intern abroad and gain real-world experience in a global city? You’ll hit the ground running at your first job after interning full-time for 12-14 weeks.

You have earned your degree, but want to gain hands-on experience and an international network before entering the workforce.

Did you know that approximately one-third of IES Internships participants are recent college graduates? They understand the value of international and professional experience prior to taking their first big career leap. They also know that an internship abroad sets them apart from other job and graduate school candidates. (Barcelona, Dublin, and Rome can accept applicants up to five years out of college.)

You have a major or minor that requires a semester-long internship or work experience.

A full-time semester internship through IES Internships can satisfy academic and experiential-learning requirements for a wide variety of disciplines. Connect with an IES Internships representative to confirm which program would be the best fit for you and your academic and career interests.

You want to live and intern in a global city for an entire semester.

In addition to skills you’ll gain before you depart and during the program, a full-time semester internship abroad allows you to make your home in and explore the culture of a truly international city for three to four months. That’s just enough time for you to feel at home (and not want to leave!).

Do any of these sound like you? Apply to a full-time semester internship program now or learn about our full-time summer internships in 14 exciting locations!
