We Did It, Again! IES Abroad Recognized As a Top Study Abroad Provider

The students have spoken and ranked us at the top! Based on thousands of student reviews, we were just named the Overall Best Study Abroad Provider of 2019 for Go Overseas, and one of GoAbroad.com's Top-Rated Organizations for 2019—the only provider to be honored for the top award on both lists!

What does that mean? It means we've been recognized, yet again, for our rigorously academic, culturally immersive, and super fun (obviously) study abroad programs. 

What's really amazing about these awards is that our win is determined by students' reviews, which says a lot about the value our students place on their experiences overseas with IES Abroad.

Not to brag, but, this is the second year in a row that we’ve won the GoOverseas Overall Best Study Abroad Provider award, and the third (yes, third!) time we've been recognized by GoAbroad.com as a top-rated study abroad organization.

To choose the Overall Best Study Abroad Provider for their Community Choice Awards, Go Overseas looked at every program review posted on their site between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019. To determine the winner, they averaged the student rankings that each study abroad provider received across their programs in five categories: academics, support, fun, housing, and safety. Guess who was a top performer in each category?

It's true, we have the most positive reviews on the Go Overseas website (130 reviews total to be exact). Why? Well, our number one priority is YOU (the student) and we're incredibly proud of the quality of our programs that our faculty and staff deliver to ensure you have the best study abroad experience possible.

The selection process for the GoAbroad.com Top Rated Organization award is based on both quantity of reviews collected and overall ratings, as well as other measures of quality and participant satisfaction. All reviews counted were published in the 2019 calendar year and, again, we had some of the most positive student reviews (136 total student reviews) across our programs on the GoAbroad.com website.

"I got 60 hours of hospital observation, including seeing many surgeries and the birth of a baby!
