In total, we awarded $4,650,264 to 2,007 students attending programs in Summer 2021, Fall 2021 and Spring 2022!
During a year when we continued to feel the effects of COVID-19 on our field, IES Abroad—with the help of our generous donors—continued to prioritize our goal to make study abroad accessible to as many students as possible students through financial aid.
We are dedicated as ever to our mission and working hard to provide even more aid through initiatives like OpportunitIES Abroad Day of Giving for 2022-2023 students. This year, we went BIG on May 17th for our 2nd Annual Day of Giving and raised $1,085,972.
This year we celebrated the day hearing from Center Directors, Alumni, and Students. It was a day full of celebration showcasing the impactful experience that is study abroad is and the lives that it has changed and the those it will change in the future.
