Two IES Abroad Tokyo Students Awarded U.S.-Japan Bridging Foundation Scholarship

We are excited to announce that two IES Abroad Tokyo students have been awarded scholarships from the U.S – Japan Bridging Foundation to study abroad in Spring 2013!

Lindsay Anderson (University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign) and Christina Chun (University of Puget Sound) are two of 20 students to receive the Bridging Scholarships for Study Abroad in Japan. Anderson will attend the IES Abroad Tokyo Language Intensive Program, and Chun will attend the IES Abroad Tokyo Society and Culture Program.

Scholarship recipients are awarded a $2,500 stipend to help pay for living expenses while abroad.
