The semester has ended for Fionna Lehmann (Vienna, Spring 2015), and, in her final post, she reflects on her time in Austria. With the exception of grocery stores being closed on Sunday, Fionna said she will, “…miss almost everything about Vienna: the coffee, the kebab and Käsekrainer, the beautiful buildings, the public transportation (believe me, it’s AMAZING), and, of course, the people. … My time is Vienna is one that I will treasure forever. I have learned so much about both myself and the world, and I honestly can’t believe it is actually over.”

In our Blog Post of the Week, Fionna offers some practical advice to future study abroad students on how to meet new (local) friends abroad and avoid the “American bubble” that can be easy to get trapped in. Read Fionna’s final post here.
