We get it, applying for study abroad scholarships and financial aid can feel daunting and confusing. That’s why we decided to take the guess work out of applying and do the work for you!

When you use our new and improved online aid application, the process is easy. Instead of trying to figure out which aid programs you might qualify for, you tell us a little bit about yourself (10 short questions) and upload a few documents. Then, we’ll review your materials and determine all the different categories of financial aid and/or scholarships you’re eligible for.

The even better news? You’ll hear back from us about your eligibility within five business days!

We know how important financial aid and scholarships can be to making your decision to study abroad. With our new application, you save time and know your aid eligibility very quickly.

With $3 million in scholarships and financial aid for study abroad projected for the 2016-17 academic year, we hope to be able to help even more students study abroad.

Don’t just take our word for it—hear directly from one of our recent study abroad scholarship recipients:

"I saw more and learned more in a semester than I have in my entire life. And that is why studying abroad rocked my world"—Ariana C. (Paris Business & International Affairs, Fall 2015)

In the video below, Ariana shares more about what studying abroad and receiving one of the IES Abroad scholarships meant to her personally and academically.

This spring, 47% of our students received IES Abroad scholarships or financial aid. Make your study abroad dreams a reality—apply now
