In 2010, IES Abroad became the first organization to be Quality Improvement Process (QUIP 2A) recognized by The Forum on Education Abroad, and today we remain the only organization in this category. Thanks to our own extensive internal review program at IES Abroad, we were eligible for the specialized 2A review.
We are pleased to report that our QUIP Interim Report was approved in late 2015. The Interim Report involved an extensive self-study and compilation of documents, as well as a visit by two representatives of the Forum. We are proud to continue to be in substantial conformity with the Forum’s Standards of Good Practice for Education Abroad, the highest standards in the education abroad field.
The Forum Review Panel noted that, “IES Abroad clearly is continuing to practice ongoing quality improvement and takes the Standards seriously as a way to improve its programming. They approached the Interim Report in the most beneficial way.”
Our QUIP recognition is valid until 2018.
