IES Abroad, as part of its ongoing Diversity Initiative, recently announced a new partnership with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), the national educational association representing 450 colleges and universities committed to Hispanic student success in higher education. Together, HACU schools educate two-thirds of Hispanic college students today.
Combining efforts to increase student access to education at home and abroad, the partnership between IES Abroad and HACU aims to further support the institutions committed to serving Hispanic students in higher education.
In celebration of this partnership, IES Abroad will offer seven merit/need-based scholarships to students from HACU institutions for study on an IES Abroad summer or semester program beginning summer 2010.
