A New Garden for Egoli: Cape Town Blog Post of the Week

This semester, Cape Town blogger, Jules Ashe, together with another IES Abroad student and community members, built a garden in the informal squatter settlement of Egoli in South Africa. Faced with less than ideal soil conditions, they employed a peri-urban farming technique to plant green peppers, celery, melon, squash, and more. Read this Blog Post of the Week to see, quite literally, the fruits of their labor!
