IES Abroad Rabat will offer a new field trip to Tangiers and Chaouen for semester students beginning in Fall 2014.
Tangiers, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic at the Strait of Gibraltar, is known for its diverse and incredibly rich history. The Musée d'Art Contemporain, the Kasbah Museum, the Terrasse des Paresseux, and the Hercules Cave are just some of the attractions that make Tangiers an exciting city, giving the students a diverse cultural experience.
Chaouen, or Chefchaouen, is one of the prettiest towns in Morocco with its artsy, blue-washed walls that make this mountain village feel like its own world. The old medina is a delight of Moroccan and Andalucian influence with red-tiled roofs, bright-blue buildings and narrow lanes converging on busy Plaza Uta el-Hammam and the restored kasbah.
This field trip is offered at no additional charge. Additional details will be available to admitted students. Come experience the beauty of Morocco!
