from Carrrie Cunningham, Director of Institutional Research
To my three little birds, Henry, Kora & Daniel:
If there is but one wish I could have for all of you, it is to enthusiastically embrace a life of curiosity.
To do this, you must recognize joyfulness in the universe. You must thoughtfully observe the visible and invisible world around you. You must be brave and ask questions when you don’t understand. And you must be willing to be uncomfortable. You’re not always going to know where to land when you set off. Your life’s journey didn’t come with a fully illustrated and charted map (trust me, I’ve looked!). But, if you’re curious, you can always find a way to navigate the spaces you encounter – and, hopefully, have a whole lot of fun along the way. You are so loved, now go be joyful. Be thoughtful. Be brave. Be curious.
With all my love,
Mom
