We are pleased to announce Todd St. Vrain as the new Center Director in Sydney starting May 19.
Todd comes to IES Abroad from the University of Rochester, where he was the Manager for International Initiatives. Prior to his time at the University of Rochester, he worked for 10 years in Sydney, including at the Faculty of Law at the University of Technology Sydney and in multiple appointments at the University of Sydney. Todd also spent several years teaching or volunteering in Brazil, Italy, and Jamaica. He holds a Master's of Arts in International Education Development from Columbia University, where his thesis focused on human rights education in Brazil.
A St. Louis native, Todd is excited to draw upon his skills and experiences working in education in both Australia and the United States to help IES Abroad students navigate between these two worlds. He is looking forward to working with our students at Macquarie University, the University of New South Wales, the University of Sydney and in our two new summer programs, Internships and Study Australia, which will begin this June.
