We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Scott Lyngaas as the new Center Director for the IES Abroad Paris - French Studies program.
Scott was formerly Associate Dean and Associate Professor of French at Beloit College in Wisconsin. He received his doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he wrote his dissertation on Francophone historical fiction. He also previously served as Resident Director of American study programs in Brussels and Paris.
Scott replaces Marie-Anne Devaux, who recently retired after 20 years as Director. Marie-Anne will continue to direct the IES Abroad Arles Summer program.
