Meet Brian Brubaker, New AVP of Customized Programs!

IES Abroad is delighted to welcome Brian Brubaker as the new Assistant Vice President of Customized Programs at IES Abroad.

In this role, Brian will oversee the Customized Programs department in developing and implementing high quality, specialized (usually faculty-led semester-length and/or short-term), group study abroad programs.

Brian was previously the Associate Director of the Center for Global Study and Engagement and the Director of Education Abroad at Dickinson College. He received his B.A. Cum Laude from Dickinson, where he majored in international studies and minored in French and his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, where he specialized in Marketing.

He served on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Council for International Education and was an elected member of the IES Abroad Academic Council in the fall of 2012. Brian has also worked in the International Programs Office at Arizona State University and presents frequently at workshops and conferences, such as the Forum on Education Abroad and NAFSA.
