On November 21st, IES Abroad London hosted a fundraising event for our student-led Jamaican Healthcare Solidarity Project. As part of our Health Practice & Policy Program, our Fall 2014 students will spend the last two weeks of their program in Kingston, Jamaica, where they will be taking part in service learning placements in the local community. The students are fundraising to cover the costs of basic medical supplies that they will donate to a clinic in Jamaica.
As part of the event, talented students, staff and faculty performed, including our very own Jamaican-born poet and IES Abroad London faculty member, David Neita.
All proceeds will go directly to fundraising project.
