For the fourth year in a row, IES Abroad is participating in #GivingTuesday—a global day of giving. On November 28th, join us as we set out to increase access to study abroad by raising funds for IES Abroad Scholarships.
Last year we raised more than $27,000 for the IES Abroad Scholarship Fund, which greatly helped our students with financial need make their study abroad dreams become a reality. This year, our goal is to inspire 200 gifts in 24 hours, of which 100% goes to scholarships for students with financial need to study and intern abroad next year.
All gifts, no matter the amount, will create access to the life-changing opportunities that study abroad provides.
Funding is the determining factor for many students who want to study abroad, which is why scholarships are increasingly important. We firmly believe that financial limitations should not prevent a qualified student from participating in an IES Abroad program—that’s why we invite you to make a tax-deductible gift to the IES Abroad Scholarship Fund on November 28th using our #GivingTuesday fundraising page.
Ways to Make an Impact on #GivingTuesday:
- Create your own fundraising page for #GivingTuesday. Set a goal, upload your picture, and share with family and friends to raise funds for IES Abroad Scholarships.
- Invite others to give through your page. If you raise at least $250 in gifts through your page, as a thank you we’ll send you a reusable IES Abroad tote bag—it folds into a globe and is great for your next travel adventure!
- "Like" and share our scholarship impact stories on Facebook.
- Browse our sample posts and share your support on social media.
- Make a gift on 11/28.
