IES Abroad President and CEO, Dr. Mary M. Dwyer, was recently interviewed in anticipation of The Forum on Education Abroad’s Tenth Annual Conference, “New and Emerging Paradigms for Education Abroad,” taking place in San Diego from April 2-4, 2014.
As a founding member of the Board, Dr. Dwyer remembers fondly the first conference in Santa Fe in 2004. Over the last ten years, the conference has grown both in size and esteem, attracting education abroad professionals and faculty nationwide who are committed to Standards of Good Practice.
Dr. Dwyer describes the Annual Conference in three words: “worthwhile, substantive, and effective.”
