IES Internships is excited to announce the opening of three additional summer internship programs in the following locations starting Summer 2015:
- Milan
- Paris
- Santiago
These programs will join the ranks of our six other full-time internships located in Barcelona, Chicago, Dublin, London, Rome, and Sydney. In the three new programs, students will work at least 25 hours per week at a local company or organization and enroll in a 1- or 6-credit academic internship seminar.
Milan Summer – Internship
Available internship fields include: Accounting, Advertising, Arts, Business, Communications, Design, E-commerce, Education, Fashion, Finance, IT, Logistics, Luxury Companies, Marketing, Music, Not-for-Profit Organizations, and Publishing. Students live in furnished apartments with fully-equipped kitchens. Outside of their internship, students can participate in IES Abroad-organized events and an optional field trip to places like Lago Maggiore and Cinque Terre. In addition to the academic internship seminar, students can enroll in an optional 3-credit Italian language course offered at the Center.
Paris Summer – Internship
Available internship fields include: Arts Administration, Business, Cooking and Catering, Immigration and Social Inclusion, IT, Language Teaching, Marketing, Media and Communications, Museums and Galleries, Theater, and Tourism. Students live in homestays. In their free time, students can explore the various areas of the city and take field trips to places like Giverny and Reims. Students must have completed the equivalent of five semesters of college-level French to apply.
Santiago Summer – Internship
Available internship fields include: Accounting, Business, Education/Language Teaching, Finance, IT, Logistics, Marketing, Media, and Communications, Not-for-Profit Organizations, Museums, Municipalities, and Tourism. Students live in homestays, and can participate in field trips to places like Valparaiso and Viña del Mar.
