IES Abroad’s Rio Center Opens!
Our newest Center in Rio de Janeiro welcomed its first students in early February! Join Rio Center Director Dr. Octavio di Leo for an update on this program. Octavio will explain what Rio and IES Abroad have to offer: IES Abroad and local university courses, our homestays, and service learning placements, and much more. All of these aspects provide invaluable cultural integration opportunities into this vibrant location.

IES Abroad MAP for Language and Intercultural Communication
We have reached the final stages of the implementation of the IES Abroad MAP for Language and Intercultural Communication. In this webinar, Program Dean Dr. Lee L’Hote will give a brief overview of “The Language Map” and how it is being implemented in language teaching at IES Centers worldwide. The webinar will also discuss the changes to our course numbering and syllabi and clearly outline the equivalencies from past to the revised syllabi. We encourage study abroad advisors and language faculty to attend.
