Joe Sevigny, our Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, has been selected to participate in the 2015 Baden-Württemberg Seminar.
The seminar, jointly sponsored by NAFSA/AACRAO and the Ministry of Science, Research, and Arts of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, will take place October 18-24, 2015, in Heidelberg, Germany.
Joe is one of 15 U.S.-based international education professionals selected to participate in the seminar, and the only participant from a study abroad provider. The seminar focuses on the German educational system, German-U.S. academic equivalencies, student exchange opportunities, and includes visits to secondary and tertiary educational institutions.
IES Abroad has had a presence in Germany since 1962. With Joe’s role as the former chair and current member of the Visa Education Subcommittee at NAFSA, we’ll be honing our knowledge of the latest visa information for our Berlin Summer Internship Program, collecting updates on course grading scales, and learning about new study opportunities for IES Abroad students headed to Germany.
Congratulations, Joe!
