On Tuesday, December 2, the IES Abroad community will come together to participate in #GivingTuesday, a global initiative dedicated to giving back.
Following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 as a call to action to inspire more charitable giving during the holiday season. Last year, more than 10,000 organizations in 46 countries collaborated to celebrate #GivingTuesday.
All funds raised by IES Abroad on #GivingTuesday will directly support scholarships for future IES Abroad students. Funding is the determining factor for many students who want to study abroad, which is why scholarships are increasingly important. We firmly believe that financial limitations should not prevent a qualified student from participating in an IES Abroad program—that’s why we invite you to make a gift on December 2nd by visiting www.IESabroad.org/giving.
