IES Abroad is pleased to announce that Carola McGiffert, Director of the 100,000 Strong Initiative and Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and the Pacific, will speak at IES Abroad’s 2011 Annual Conference in October.
President Barack Obama’s 100,000 Strong Initiative is dedicated to sending 100,000 American college students to China over the next four years. IES Abroad offers study abroad programs in three Chinese cities: Beijing, Kunming, and Shanghai.
