In collaboration with IES Abroad Rabat, the Université Mohammed V-Agdal held a conference this January on the teaching of Arabic as a foreign language in Morocco. The event celebrated International Arabic Day and was held in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the University’s founding.
Various educational institutions and organizations participated in the event, including the Islamic Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO); Moulay Ismail University; the Moroccan American Commission for Education and Cultural Exchange; and more. Presentations and lectures from IES Abroad faculty and staff covered topics ranging from intercultural competence to unique Arabic language teaching approaches and beyond.
