COURSE SYLLABI VIDEOS
The IES Abroad Salamanca fall semester syllabi feature new videos of the faculty members introducing their courses to students in Spanish and demonstrating what each course will include. By viewing the videos, students can learn about what to expect in each course and get a taste of the immersive Spanish academic experience that awaits them. NEW SPANISH LANGUAGE WORKSHOPS
Study in Salamanca students are required to enroll in a 1-credit Spanish language orientation course and a 4-credit semester-long course. Starting Fall 2015, students also have the option to enroll in an additional 1-credit, semester-long Spanish language workshop to help them further develop their communication skills.
We are offering Speaking Workshops and Writing Workshops at all three language levels taught at the Center. Here are the syllabi for these new courses:

- SP342 Speaking Skills Workshop: Emerging Independent Abroad
- SP347 Writing Skills Workshop: Independent Abroad
- SP348 Speaking Skills Workshop: Independent Abroad
- SP441 Writing Skills Workshop: Emerging Competent Abroad
- SP442 Speaking Skills Workshop: Emerging Competent Abroad
We are also offering a 1-credit Spanish Through Theater Workshop in which advanced level students (SP441 or higher) will develop their ability to communicate using body language, slang, humor, and colloquial expressions through theater exercises and, eventually, by writing and producing a short play.
