Studying abroad is an incredible experience.
Maybe it inspired you to keep traveling? Maybe it led you to find a second home in another part of the world? No matter what, your life has been changed by your education abroad.
Now you’re asking yourself the obvious question, “How do I go back?”
Many of our students wonder about the possibility of going back abroad after college, and how they can take their study abroad experience to the next level. As we’re fans of international exploration, we’d like to share some helpful guidance with you.
There are a range of opportunities to go abroad after college–there’s not a one-size-fits-all solution. Whether it’s a job overseas, teaching abroad, attending grad school, or continuing your travels, think about the best choice for you financially, professionally, and emotionally.
But don’t just take it from us—the best advice comes from our IES Abroad alumni who have made going back abroad a reality!
As part of International Education Week 2016, we are launching a special feature, Alumni Advice on How to Go Back Abroad. The feature will highlight tips and stories of IES Abroad alumni on how they are living, working, and/or continuing their studies abroad after college.
This week, we will feature four recent IES Abroad alums (Preston, Jessie, Ashley & Kimberly) who have successfully gone back abroad in different ways. They are excited to share their stories on how to make living abroad after graduation possible. After this week, we’ll feature a new alum each month starting in December.
Be sure to check out IES Abroad’s Facebook and Twitter pages for updates on new, upcoming featured alumni!
