In support of our goal to help as many students as possible study abroad, we recently offered 990 awards to our spring students, for a total of $1,422,550. This brings the total amount of scholarship and aid money awarded by IES Abroad during the 2010-11 academic year to a record-breaking $2,331,136, a 14% increase over last year’s award total.
Each year, we offer financial aid and scholarships to students who attend schools in the IES Abroad Academic Consortium. Students may apply for and receive awards based on need, merit, diversity status, and specialized fields or location of study including International Relations, Asia Pacific Scholarships, Leadership and Community Involvement, and Legacy Scholarships.
