Naomi Bowman

Naomi Bowman (IES Abroad Vienna | Spring 1985) is the CEO of DS-Interpretation, Inc., a leading event technology and language services company. With 35+ years in the language services industry, she has worked with clients like Apple, Google, NATO, and the U.S. Department of State. Naomi represents the United States in international standards for translation and interpreting and is a recognized expert on language technology and AI. She co-authored The Interpreter’s Guide to Audio and Video and has published extensively. Holding an M.A. in International Relations, she has lived in five countries, worked in 30+, and mastered remote work long before it was the norm.

Kathleen Diamond

Kathleen Diamond (IES Abroad Nantes | 1966-67) is a consultant, entrepreneur, and leader in the language services industry. She founded Language Learning Enterprises, Inc. (LLE®) in 1979, pioneering Telephone Interpreting in the 1990s and growing LLE into a multimillion-dollar company before its sale in 2009. She is a founding chair of ALC Bridge, connecting language students with career opportunities, and serves on international language standards committees. Kathleen advises companies on growth, strategy, and succession planning. Fluent in Spanish and French, she holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Florida and has endowed scholarships at UF and IES Abroad.
