Join Bob Juppe, IES Vienna 80-81, 84-85, as he guides us through several top hikes in the Vienna Woods – and where to get a great glass of Gruner Veltliner afterwards! Vienna is the only major city surrounded by vineyards and hike able wooded areas that are minutes away from the city center. Thousands of IES Vienna students have explored the Wienerwald on their own or in groups discovering the natural beauty and pleasure these rolling hills hold. Robert (Bob) Juppe has been living in Japan for several decades. He teaches at a university there. He also writes texts and magazine articles. He studied abroad with IES Abroad Vienna at the Palais Kinsky during the Academic Year 1980-81 and served as Student Assistant from 1984-85 again in the Vienna Center.
