Join us during Black History and Women’s History Month to meet Dr. Shirley Marks, IES Vienna 1967-68. A Merrill Scholar and board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. Marks is nationally known for her work on reducing the stigma around mental illness and advocating for mental health equity. Coming out of retirement in 2018 Dr. Marks is currently serving as the Regional Director for Behavioral Health Services at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Correctional Managed Care.
