Darienne Rogers
Hello! My name is Darienne. I’m a student at Duke University, studying abroad in Madrid this fall. I’m studying biomedical engineering but plan to attend medical school after graduation. In Madrid I hope to perfect my Spanish-speaking skills because I see a lot of value in communicating with others who may not understand English, especially in the healthcare field. Some of my favorite things to do for relaxation include reading on the beach and listening to music. I consider myself outgoing, but also enjoy my alone time to think and reflect on my life. I think studying abroad will be the perfect chance to meet others while also growing as a person individually. I’m excited to share my authentic study abroad experience with anyone and everyone interested!
