Whew! It's been quite a few weeks since I have managed to get a video done, but I'll be sharing what I've been doing in the interim VERY soon. It's hard to film, edit, and explore while you're on the road lol.
This video is the second part of the three part series depicting my two week term break from studying at the University of Cantebury. Like I said in my last blog post, the first week was spent with all the other IES Abroad students traveling 2,207 miles to Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. We got a chance to kayak, go to traditional Cook Islander Maori dinners, and snorkel in the lagoon. The video opens with a few drone shots of Rarotonga that our program assistant director was kind enough to give me.
The second week was spent exploring all over the North Island, from Auckland to Wellington. I'll get into more details about that in the next post, but one of my favorite parts about it was being able to stop at all the short walks we saw and run around adventuring. A huge part of the north island was Hobbiton, but lucky for me my camera died right in the beginning! Cell phone video works all right though, and I'm glad I can show you guys a peek into it.
Enjoy!
