Here is the first half of the first week of studying abroad in Rome Italy! It has been SO much fun! From traveling for over 20 hours by myself to starting a new life here for the next 3 months. Everything is jam packed the first week but now I have had some time to settle in during the end of the week. I have been absorbing everything like a sponge, I have talked the basic Italian to locals and it has been so fun! There are so many sites to see and it has been such a great time so far! I already have seen the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Ruins, and obviously ate a lot of great food and shopped! It is fun to be able to see everything in person finally, after waiting so long to go and the travels here. I have been having dessert almost everyday..lol. I also have made a lot of friends and people these first few days. IES makes it easy because we are all together a lot of the times such as being in the same classes, orientations, and rooms. I am walking a lot though, so that can counteract it. Can’t wait for what else is to come, with starting my internship and finally having a normal schedule!
