I am actually a little sad that it is over. In the beginning, I was a little scared since I knew no one and the language barrier was real. Now, I feel like I have bonded with some of the most unique and awesome people I have ever met. I actually want to take this opportunity to thank the staff at IES Abroad Tokyo for the time and dedication they put in for us to enjoy our time abroad. They did an excellent job at welcoming us and making us feel cared for. I want to highlight that the staff was always there to help us when we needed them and were always happy to provide us with tips and ideas to spend our time around the city. They also did a great job when taking us out on excursion and ensuring we get the full experience while keeping us together and safe. Moreover, our professors also did an amazing job at making us feel confident in our language skills. It was a bit intimidating at first because we had four professors and were trying to learn an unfamiliar language from scratch but they never gave up and continued to encourage us every class. I regret not having posted more often, I wish I could have shared my adventures with everyone but I guarantee that if you do study abroad you will understand how amazing it is to be able to study and explore a stunning city like Tokyo.

I will treasure these memories for the rest of my life and I hope that those that wish to study abroad take that next step towards a new episode of their lives. I assure you, it is worth it!
