A few weeks ago I went to Bursa, a city in the Northern part of Turkey and last week I went to Cappadocia, near Ankara. Both cities were amazing! In Bursa we went to a town called Uludag where it snows! I felt like I was back home instantly. We went skiing on the mountains of Uludag and then we went to eat Bursa’s famous dish, Iskender (my favorite food in Turkey!) It was an awesome experience.
Then….
I went to Cappadocia and words cannot describe everything I saw. It was just beautiful. I had the best Turkish coffee in all of Turkey (so they say..) and visited its famous underground city. The underground city was amazing and very unique, as well as a little claustrophobic. However it was something that I am glad I saw. Then we went to a Turkish Winery and had Cappadocia’s famous wine, Okuzgozu (very tasty).
My visits to these two cities were exquisite!
