A few days before I left for Nantes, France for the IES Abroad Nantes French Language Immersion and Area Studies program, I made a video discussing how I had been preparing.
I am lucky enough to have some amazing friends who already experienced study abroad that gave me wonderful advice, some of which I included in this video. Hopefully, this video will help those of you who are considering or already preparing for a semester abroad yourselves. I am so excited for my semester and all the new experiences I will have. However, that does not take away from the fear and anxiety that comes with living in a foreign country for months. You are not alone! Your worries, nerves, excitements, joys, and hopes are valid. I hope you continue following along with my journey this semester as I take you with me to Nantes!
