For a city with a bar/café on every corner, it can be difficult to find a café similar to Starbucks where it’s acceptable to pull out a laptop and study. As American students, we’re used to having libraries on our campuses and other various places that are study-friendly. In Italy, most university students study at home. In response to the struggle of finding the perfect study spot in Milan among IES Abroad students, I did a little field research and compiled a list of my favorite places that I discovered. The best part is not only are they great places to study (all with free wifi of course) but they also serve delicious food in case you need a study-break snack. Most of these locations are under the radar so keep your eyes open when attempting to find them!
